University Library Budget Reduction Strategies FY 12/13

Microfilm is durable format. Most library users find it difficult to use and use is very low. In order to preserve other resources, these subscriptions will be stopped. Several of these titles have changed vendors and the new vendor increased the price 30% for 2012. The back file for these titles remains in the Library for use. If funds return, these resources will be examined to determine if buying the unpurchased years is a best use of library funding.
