It says that I have not returned two books, but I returned them two days ago, when they were due. Will I be charged?
- Did you return the item in one of our remote book drops ?
- Call the library service desk at (828) 262-2818, or use the email form  and ask us to renew the items so that overdue fines do not accrue. You may also ask that the status of the books be changed to "Claims Returned," which alerts us to search for the books.
- On occasion we do make the mistake of failing to check in an item before it goes back to the shelf in the Library. Sometimes people are sure that they returned items, but then they turn up in the backseat of their cars or on a shelf in their office. Take a few minutes and double check.
