FSC 2101:  Child Development -- Birth to Two Years

Library Catalog Provides access to books and materials in other formats available at Appalachian, UNC Asheville and Western Carolina . Most books and periodicals owned by UNCA and WCU can be borrowed using the ABC-Express van service, at no charge, and received in 1-2 days. The Library Catalog is not an index to journal articles although the Find Related Sources feature will lead you to some .

A general database which provides full text for 1,250 magazines and journals and citations with abstracts to nearly 3,000 titles. Over 1,600 titles are peer-reviewed.

Child Abuse, Child Welfare and Adoption, 1965-present.   
Contains citations and abstracts from books, journals, government reports, conference papers, state annual reports, curricula, and unpublished papers.

Education Full Text, Indexing: 1983-present; Full Text and abstracts: 1994-present.
Provides citations with abstracts to nearly 500 international journals--with full text access to more than 130 journals, monographs, and yearbooks on a wide range of contemporary education issues.

ERIC ,  1966-present; Some full text. 
Indexes journal articles and documents in the field of education.

Family & Society Studies Worldwide, 1970-present.
References, with lengthy abstracts, for journal articles and books from a wide range of disciplines on family and human development.

PsycINFO, 1887-present; Some full text. 
Provides citations, with abstracts, to journal articles, dissertations, books, book chapters, and reports covering the professional and academic literature in psychology and related disciplines.

Sociological Abstracts,
Provides citations (and abstracts since 1974) for articles in more than 2,500 international journals, serials, conference papers, books, and dissertations. Also indexes Social Planning/Policy and Development Abstracts (SOPODA) which focuses on solutions to social problems.
