Laptop Checkout Policy

Both the Main Circulation Service Desk and the Lower Level Service Desk have Dell Laptops for check out. The Main Circulation Service Desk also carries several Mac laptops as well. All laptops are checked out to ASU Students on a first come, first serve basis. A valid ASU ID is required for check outs. By checking out a library laptop, the patron agrees to abide by the Belk Library Laptop Checkout Agreement.

Laptops are checked out for an eight (8) hour period. They may be renewed for an additional 2 hours.

Because laptops are in such high demand, overdue laptop fines are high at $10.00 for cord and laptop per hour that it is overdue (NOTE: parts of an hour i.e. 30 minutes rounds up to the next hour).
