Open Access Publishing Opportunity with Cambridge University Press

Starting in January 2021, Appalachian State University authors who are publishing articles in Cambridge University Press journals will be automatically eligible for open access publications. No Article Processing Charges (APCs) will be charged to authors. This opportunity is ideal for researchers who want to share their work openly but who may lack funding for article processing charges (APCs).

All Appalachian personnel (faculty, students, staff, and others with email addresses) are eligible to take advantage of this open access opportunity when publishing with Cambridge. To activate this offer, please ensure that the primary author for the article has an email address.

Cambridge University Press publishes more than 380 peer-reviewed academic journals covering subjects across the humanities, social sciences, and science, technology, and medicine. To learn more about their journals, visit the Cambridge University Press website. If you need assistance identifying Cambridge journals that might be appropriate publication venues for your work, please contact your library liaison. *There is a small list of Cambridge journals that do not offer open access publishing options and are excluded from this agreement.
