OpenUNC Website

We are pleased to announce that the UNC System has officially launched OpenUNC, a new website that helps advance open research practices, open access publication methods, open dissemination of research outputs, and open educational resources across the state of North Carolina, nationally, and globally. The website also showcases open content from all UNC System institutions, including information about new open access initiatives. OpenUNC is sponsored by the UNC University Library Advisory Council (ULAC).

OpenUNC also provides access to open access monographs published by UNC Press and all open access journals published at UNC System institutions. This includes Appalachian's newest open access journals, BeeXML and Data & Analytics For Good.  For more information about OpenUNC please go the OpenUNC website,  see the UNC System article and tweets, and WITN news coverage.

OpenUNC is interested in hearing about any open access-related activities or initiatives within the library and across campus to profile in our news blog. Feel free to send any OA stories or news alerts to Agnes Gambill at gambillab@appstate.edu.
