Our Special Collections Research Center recently celebrated the acquisition and processing of the Black Mountain College Oral History Collection. Over 400 oral histories of former faculty and students from this historic liberal arts college that educated artists from 1933-1957 are available.
A reception was held to acknowledge the receipt of the Black Mountain College Archives by the University, Speakers included Mark Coltrain, interim director of the Special Collections Research Center, Jane Barghothi, vice chancellor for university advancement, Joseph Bathanti, English Department and Mary Emma Harris.
