Decked out in her period costume compliments of the Theater Department, Dean Sue Polanka has been a hit on the local book club circuit with her presentation on the Packhorse Librarians of Western Kentucky.
The book, The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek: A Novel was written by Kim Michele Richardson has been featured reading for 4 local book clubs in the area. Each presentation is different but received with applause and accolades from her audience as she dives into her role as the main character, Cussy Mary Carter. Dean Polanka provides a unique perspective and she shares passages of her book with the audience.
