On Friday, September 5, the Library Advisory Council met in room 024 of Belk Library and Information Commons. The agenda included:
A change of officers as Board Chair, Mary Helen Ridenhour stepped down as chair of the council and Scott Oxford picked up the gavel.
Mary Helen Ridenhour was given Library Advisory Council Emeritus Status with a unanimous vote.
Mark Coltrain presented the Lenoir Family Papers
The group toured the Creative Design Lab and Recording space on the lower level.
Associate Deans Molly Keener and Veronica Wells presented Library updates.
Hank Foreman and Tracey Ford gave development updates and spoke about moving forward with a new engagement charge.
Dean Sue Polanka lead a facilities changes and updated study room tour
The group then moved to 421 Broyhill Room to attend the Library Student Employee Scholarship Luncheon.
