Our very own Dr. Gary Boye, Coordinator of the Nicholas Erneston Music Library, and Dr. Reeves Shulstad, Professor of Musicology in the Appalachian State University - Hayes School of Music are featured in this wonderful interview with Our State Magazine on the Hidden History of Camp Catawba. "Greta Browning, the SCRC public services team, and DSI did a lot of work coordinating research visits and digital reproductions for the article," said Emily Kader, Anne Belk Distinguished Professor and Curator for Distinctive Collections. "And, as you'll see in the video, Gary also gave his time for an interview and provided lots of historical and contextual information."
Kader also said the article provides nice citations for our collections in the photo captions of the article and she was excited to share this great PR for the collections and the collaborative work everyone did together!
