We are pleased to announce Jewel Davis has been appointed Interim Director of the Instructional Materials Center (IMC). In this role, Davis will oversee the IMC’s collection, instructional programs, and the work of IMC staff members.
Jewel has served as an Education Librarian at App State since 2013, where she has been the liaison to the Reich College of Education. She is widely recognized as a valuable colleague within the Libraries and a strong advocate for youth literature. Her outreach efforts have supported both App State students and local educators, strengthening connections between the university and the wider community.
The Instructional Materials Center provides resources and services designed to support teacher education and the integration of instructional materials into K-12 classrooms.
