Library Advisory Council Member, Kay Borkowski received an award from the Boone Sunrise Rotary Club. For only the sixth time in its 38-year history, the group presented Kay with its Lifetime Community Service Award.
Kay Borkowski was one of the original members of the Library Advisory Board for the University Libraries created in 1995. A board that was created to assist with the planning and fund raising for the Belk Library Information and Commons opened in 2005. Kay not only gives to the University Libraries, she is know for her giving heart across the entire high country. This is an honor well deserved. Congratulations, Kay!
