We are pleased to announce hiring two Manuscripts and Archives Processers in the Special Collections Research Center.
Sai Estep who started in the position on June 25th. Sai will be responsible for arranging and describing archival and manuscript collections, as well as maintaining documentation of new collections. Sai has been the Digitization Technician with Digital Scholarship & Initiatives since 2022, performing digital imaging and audio/video conversion. Prior to that, she was the coordinator of the Digital Watauga Project with the Watauga County Public Library. Sai is currently pursuing a Master of Library Science with a concentration in Archives and Records Management from North Carolina Central University.
Celine Shay started with the University Libraries on July 7th. Celine will be responsible for arranging and describing archival and manuscript collections, as well as maintaining documentation of new collections.Celine was previously an archivist at the Moise A. Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies in Raleigh, North Carolina and has worked for the International Civil Rights Center & Museum. She has a Master of Arts in Public History from North Carolina State University.
