We are excited to welcome Stacey Fox who has accepted the position of Hickory Library Service Assistant at the Hickory Library and Information Commons. Stacey will start, Tuesday, September 5th.
Stacey says, "I'm a recent graduate from UNC Chapel Hill in their Masters of Library and Information Science program. My studies tended to focus on access, accessibility, and community building through collection practices in libraries and archival institutions, and I have been a resident of Burke County for nearly my entire life, so I'm very excited to be helping ASU establish itself so near to my home through my work as the Library Service Assistant here in the Hickory Library and Information Commons! In my spare time I like to explore new music in all kinds of genres, and I'm always looking for new recommendations!"
