Meet Our New Electronic Resources Librarian!
We’re excited to welcome our new Electronic Resources Librarian to the University Libraries team, Griffin Anderson! Based in Collections Management, Griffin joined us in March and brings a wealth of experience from public libraries, community college collections, and K–12 Career and Technical Education.
In this role, he works closely with faculty, staff, vendors, and consortia partners to make strategic, data-driven decisions about the Libraries’ electronic collections. Griffin’s focus is on ensuring our databases, journals, and platforms align with institutional goals to support student learning, faculty research, and community needs.
Drawn to the beauty of the North Carolina mountains, Griffin knew App State was the right place and the right job—and we’re glad the stars aligned. Outside of work, you might find him reading sci-fi and fantasy, hanging out with his spouse and dogs, or playing the mandolin (by his own admission, “very mediocrely”).
