Best of Boones Names the Belk Library Best Place to Study for the Third Year!
The Belk Library and Information Commons has been named the Best Place to Study in the "Best of Boone" awards for the third consecutive year! For nine years, The Appalachian has published its annual Best of Boone issue—a community-driven celebration highlighting the people, places, and experiences that have made the most impact over the past year. This special edition serves not only as a way to recognize local favorites, but also as a helpful guide for incoming students and visitors exploring all that Boone has to offer.
Belk Library is deeply honored to receive this recognition once again and grateful to everyone who voted. With its quiet study areas, collaborative spaces, and access to extensive academic resources, the library continues to be a welcoming and supportive environment for students. This award reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering academic success and creating a space where the Appalachian community feels inspired, focused, and connected.
