We are pleased to announce that Angela Howell will be the new University Archivist and Director of Records Management in the Special Collections Research Center, starting May 16th. The position is 12-month - EPS and reports to the Coordinator for the Special Collections Research Center.
Angela has been the Manuscripts and Archives Processor in Special Collections since 2022 and has been working at App State's University Libraries since 2019. She earned her MLIS from UNC Greensboro in 2023 with a concentration in special collections, archives, and digital collections. In 2024, she became a Certified Archivist.
We are very excited to have Angela in this important role of preserving and maintaining the history and legacy of the University.
