We are pleased to announce Pamela Mitchem will be the new Director of the combined DSI/SCRC teams. Her first day will be July 1st.
Pam has over 25 years of experience in special collections, archives, digital initiatives, and scholarly communications. Since 2015, she has been the Coordinator of Digital Scholarship and Initiatives Team. From May 2024 - March 2025, Pam was the Interim Associate Dean of University Libraries.
In the next few months, Pam will work closely with the Associate Dean for Collections and the staff and faculty in Digital Scholarship & Initiatives and the Special Collections Research Center to determine a new name for the combined division, as well as develop the organizational structure. She will report to Associate Dean for Collections, Molly Keener.
