Finals Fest Recap

The University Libraries hosted Library Finals Fest April 27 – May 5, 2026 to help our students destress and take time to have fun during finals week.

The Libraries offered over 40 events at our 3 campus libraries and hosted well over 200 students who eagerly awaited the snacks and coffee breaks.  A special thank you to our committee chairs, Dusty Ross and Hannah Pope and our committee members, Leigh Barnes, Whitney Bevill, Breanne Crumpton, Jackie Eagleson, Mollie Peuler, Rebecca Shaw

Our most popular days are visits from the therapy animals.

“I think part of the reason the therapy animals are so popular is because we all miss our pets at home.  Visiting with the sweet pups remind us that we are almost done, the end of the semester is in sight if we just hold on!”, said Andie Combs, Public Relations major.  The Libraries are a great resource during stressful times.”
