The Cochrane Library is associated with the evidence-based practice movement in health care.
The Cochrane Library includes the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, which is full text, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), which is not full text. CENTRAL includes many citations from EMBASE, a database to which we do not have direct access. Cochrane also includes protocols for Cochrane's reviews (that are not completed yet) and Clinical Answers. Cochrane Clinical Answers provides a readable, clinically-focused entry point to rigorous research from Cochrane Reviews. They are designed to be actionable and to inform point-of-care decision-making.
