The University Libraries provide access to more that 26,000 streaming films and documentaries through Kanopy. Kanopy is an on-demand streaming video service for educational institutions that provides access to films from a variety of independent filmmakers and distributors, including the BBC, PBS and the Criterion Collection.

Go to appstate.kanopy.com to browse the selection. Off-campus users will need to log in with their App State credentials. There is a curated collection of films that are always available on demand, and all other films in Kanopy's catalog can be requested using the "Request for Access" form in Kanopy. Requests are reviewed within one business day.

Stream with Swank

Swank Digital Campus provides a streaming library of feature films, documentaries and foreign films from the largest movie studios. Studios include Walt Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount, NBCUniversal, Columbia Pictures, Lions Gate, MGM, Miramax, and many more.

The library usually has 100-200 films available each semester, chosen for classes at faculty request and available for viewing by all students, faculty, and staff. Browse the films available this semester. (Faculty members who want to request a film for their class can contact their librarian.)
