Delivery/Pickup of Books

To support ongoing teaching and learning during COVID the library has arranged for continued delivery of physical library items like books and DVDs. 

Options

  • Pickup at the Library Service Desk during open hours
  • Home delivery via USPS

Note the extended delivery time of 7-10 days for USPS mailed items. To consult with a librarian to find the best option for library materials to support coursework and research see Ask a Librarian.

Instructions

  1. Requesting is the same as before.  Use APPsearch or the catalog to initiate the request.

      In the library catalog, click the "Request" link

  2. Clicking "Request" requires you to login with your current AppState username and password.

    log in with your appstate credentials under "Students, Staff, and Faculty may Enter:"

  3. After successfully logging in, selecting the appropriate delivery option will complete the requesting process. 

    You'll be prompted to choose pickup or delivery.

  4. Library staff will process the requests daily and may contact you to verify delivery address.  We may also contact you about the availability of online versions of requested items.
