The library collaborates with the university's Information Technology Services (ITS) department to provide technology support for students, faculty, and staff.

General technology help

Visit ITS's Tech Help Desk, located on Belk Library's main floor in the Print Zone, for help with:

  • printing, copying, and scanning
  • software and hardware on library computers
  • setting up wireless printing
  • other basic technology support.

Submit a support ticket to ITS for help with:

  • Projectors & podiums in library rooms
  • Study room technology

Specialized technology in the library

Stop by the Tech Checkout Desk on the lower level of Belk Library for help with:

  • Audio/video recording rooms
  • Digital Media Studio & media production
  • Virtual Reality Studio

Staff in the Makerspace on the lower level of Belk Library can help with Makerspace equipment and 3D design/printing.

The library also offers in-depth consultations and trainings for digital media production, Makerspace, virtual reality, and data visualization projects. To set up a consultation, place a technology instruction request.
