Library Responsibilities

• Participate in the library's instruction and information literacy programs
• Serve as a liaison for the library's instruction/information literacy and reference services to students and faculty in the departments of English; Health, Leisure and Exercise Science; and Technology
• Provide reference assistance to library users through reference desk interactions, one-on-one consultations/RAP sessions, e-mail, and AsULearn
• Work with the library's digital initiatives, such as the Lumbee Indians annotated bibiography Web site

Service Interests

• Senior Contributor to ABELL (Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature)
• Supporting the scholarly or service work of colleagues, both in the Library and across campus, through library research assistance, writing groups, or mentoring
• Supporting the information needs of local nonprofit organizations

• Performance appraisal systems in academic libraries
• Information literacy
• Design and implementation of creative library/information literacy assignments
• Annotated bibliographies, as a form of scholarship and service for librarians, and as library research/information literacy assignments for students
