Off-Campus Access to Library Databases

ASU students, faculty, and staff may use library databases from off-campus. You will be prompted to log in using your last name and banner ID.

Tips and Tricks

Don't know your banner ID? Log in to AppalNet [1]> Self Services Tab> display Banner ID

Access databases directly through the library website. If you access a library resource through a link from AsULearn or some other site, you may not be recognized as an ASU affiliate.

Ask a Librarian. If you cannot log in to the library's databases, please contact us [2].

Report a problem. If you come across a problem with a particular database, please report the problem [3].

Try another database in your subject area. Sometimes databases have technical problems -- try another database [4] listed in your subject area.

Never pay for a journal or magazine article! If a database does not recognize you as an ASU affiliate or if the library does not subscribe to a particular journal, you may be asked to purchase the article. The library can order articles for you through Interlibrary Loan [5].
