Ghost Story Telling Contest in Special Collections - October 28

On October 28, a Ghost Story storytelling night was hosted in the Special Collections reading room.

A witch, Dr. Emily Kader, Anne Belk Distinguished Professor, Curator for Distinctive Collections and a Mothmaiden Dr. Jessica Cory, Editor of the Appalachian Journal judged the stories.

The audience heard tales of ghosts, demons, serial killers, superstition, and cults. In the end, Kanai Peeples's story about a detective named Chop and a serial killer called the Artisan was the winner!

We want to say thank you to everyone that participated in our spooky event!
