The library can mail items to distance/doctoral students’ homes and to faculty members’ departments.
Distance education and doctoral students
- Find an item you want in Library Search and choose Request.
- In the Comment field of the request form, enter “Home delivery requested.”
- You can also request books, articles, and theses/dissertations that App State does not own. Request the item using interlibrary loan (ILL) and it will be mailed to your home or delivered electronically.
Faculty delivery to departments
- Faculty may request delivery of most library items to their department. See the Faculty Delivery policy for complete details.
- After finding an item you want in Library Search and choosing Request, enter “departmental delivery requested” in the Comment field.
- Items usually arrive in 1-2 business days. Please return the items and the green bag in which they were delivered to any App State library or book drop.
