We’d like to welcome the new Oral History Assistant, Krystal Carter, to the Division of Digital Initiatives and Special Collections.
Krystal is a double App State alumna, graduating in May 2023 with an M.A. in Appalachian Studies, and in 2019 with a B.A. in History. She will be focused primarily on conducting interviews for our ongoing MerleFest Oral History Project.
The Oral History Assistant is a part-time, non-student temporary position that was created in 2024 to support our oral history program.
