We are excited to announce Stacey Fox as our new Hickory Library Services Technician.
In this role, Stacey will be responsible for operational and programming support for the Hickory Library & Information Commons. Their first day will be October 21 and will report to Alex Simpson.
Stacey earned their MLIS with a concentration in Archival and Records Management from UNC Chapel Hill in 2023. Prior to their graduate career, they graduated with a Bachelors in English from the University of Pennsylvania. They have been working at our Hickory location since the end of August 2023 as a non-student temp. We are happy to have them on board in a full-time capacity. Welcome, Stacey!
Thank you to the search committee members for their great work: Laura Langberg, Dr. Erin Lewis, and Alex Simpson (chair).
