Finding Books

Books for classes

  1. Start with APPsearch, the main search box on the library homepage
  2. APPsearch defaults to keyword searching, so you can enter the title, author, or subject terms. Examples:
    1. Title: Sundiata Lion King of Mali
    2. Author: James Baldwin
    3. Subject Terms: Soviet Union economy
  3. Click the yellow “Search” button
  4. Check the box for “Print Books Only” Under “Refine Results  → Limit To" in the left sidebar. (On your phone? Tap the » on the left side of the screen to see this option.)

If you want to search specifically by title or author instead of doing a keyword search, use the Advanced Search link in APPsearch and then use the drop-downs to choose Title or Author.
