Instruction and Conference Rooms

The library has several large spaces that may be used by faculty, staff, and students subject to approval by the library and adherence to University and Library policies.

Lecture hall (114)

The lecture hall is reserved for classes before 5:00 p.m. on weekdays during the semester. After that, recognized faculty, staff, and student groups may request scheduling. Use of the lecture hall is contingent on abiding by the library’s policiesNotably, the room may be used for meetings and events only and not as a classroom.

Instruction rooms (024 and 026)

The computer labs are reserved exclusively for library instruction during the fall semester until November 7 and spring semester until April 10. Faculty and staff may request to use these rooms after these dates provided they are available. Use of these rooms is contingent on abiding by the library’s policies. Room 024 contains 32 workstations and room 026 contains 20 workstations.

James and Louise Broyhill Family Conference Room (421)

Recognized faculty, staff, and student groups may request scheduling of this conference room when it is not in use by the library. Use of the conference room is contingent on abiding by the library’s policiesNotably, the room may be used for meetings and events only and not as a classroom.
