For Kids
Books
Books for children and young adults are located on the lower level of Belk Library in the Instructional Materials Center, a model Pre-K – 12 school media center. IMC materials are available for checkout by students, faculty, and staff, as well as area educators and community members.

eBooks
- MackinVIA offers a growing collection of eBooks for students from pre-kindergarten through grade 8. Many eBooks are interactive and designed for struggling or reluctant readers. MackinVia Apps are available for most devices.
- Libby also offers eBooks for children and teens, with an especially large collection of Young Adult fiction. See the eBooks page to learn how to use Libby.
Streaming
The Just for Kids Streaming Collection is a kid-safe, advertisement-free media platform with educational content from producers like PBS and Reading Rainbow. It is available for off-campus use by students, faculty, and staff who log in with their App State credentials.
