Borrowing & Delivery
Hickory Campus students can request items from the library catalog–including materials from the App State, UNCA, and Western Carolina University libraries–and have them delivered to the Hickory Library & Information Commons.
Use interlibrary loan to request any books or articles you can’t find in the library’s catalog or databases.
Technology
Hickory Campus students, faculty, and staff can check out laptops, calculators, and more at the library desk.
The Hickory Library & Information Commons also has a Cricut and 3D printer for student and faculty/staff use.
Using the Library
Community Access
The University Libraries are open to community members and North Carolina public school teachers as well as Appalachian State University students, faculty, and staff. After midnight, Belk Library is only open to students, faculty, and staff only.
