About the Hickory Library & Information Commons
The Hickory Library & Information Commons opened August 21, 2023 and serves Appalachian State University's Hickory campus.
During the semester, the library is open Monday - Thursday from 7am - 9pm and Friday from 7am - 5pm. The Service Desk is staffed Monday - Thursday from 8am - 6pm and Friday from 8am - 5pm.

Borrowing & Delivery
Hickory Campus students can request items from the library catalog--including materials from the App State, UNCA, and Western Carolina University libraries--and have them delivered to the Hickory Library & Information Commons.
Use interlibrary loan to request any books or articles you can't find in the library's catalog or databases.
