Databases in Library Search

Library Search lets you search most, but not all, of the library’s subscription research databases from a single search box.

Definitions

Included in Library Search Included in Library Search: Content from these databases is searchable via Library Search.

Included with Login Included with Login: Content from these databases will only appear in your Library Search results if you sign in.

Included in Newspapers Search Included in Newspapers Search: Newspaper articles from these databases only appear in the Newspapers Search section of Library Search. (Non-newspaper content in these databases can be found using a regular Library Search.)

Not in Library Search Not in Library Search: You have to go directly to these databases to search them.

Tips

  • Some databases offer more advanced or specialized search options if you search them directly rather than searching them through Library Search. This is especially true for non-text content like data, statistics, and media.
  • You can also see whether a specific database is included in Library Search by searching for the database by name and checking its “more info” page.
